Stressed.
Today I felt as if I were going to die.
Really, I did.
I went to the doctor thinking he was going to tell me I was having a heart attack.
He didn’t. I have something that is much less severe and much more treatable…if only I can learn how to manage my stress in a healthy way.
I have been giving a second chance, and I want to make the most of every moment.

So avoid using the word ‘very’ because it’s lazy. A man is not very tired, he is exhausted. Don’t use very sad, use morose. Language was invented for one reason, boys - to woo women - and, in that endeavor, laziness will not do. It also won’t do in your essays.
